Job Summary

As a Lead Engineer on our ServiceNow Solutions team, you will be responsible for designing, coding, testing, implementing, maintaining, and supporting applications and modules on the ServiceNow platform. You will analyze business requirements and problems, drive research to design quality technical solutions, and manage complex problems independently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze system requirements, including identifying program interactions and appropriate interfaces between impacted components and sub systems.
  • Makes recommendations towards the development of new code or to reuse of existing code.
  • Lead assigned projects, including assigning tasks, coordinating efforts, and monitoring performance.
  • Recommend new technologies and methodologies to management for meeting business needs, resolving problems and exploiting opportunities.
  • Obtain and evaluate information on factors such as reporting formats required, costs, and security needs to determine hardware configuration.
  • Participate in software system testing and validation procedures, programming and documentation.
  • Provide technical advice and assist in solving programming problems.
  • Write and/or review system specifications, including output requirements and flow charts.
  • Assist in preparing project plans using project management tools.
  • Review test results; document test activities, and record remedial actions.
  • Ensure proper analysis of problems and programming approaches to prevent rework and schedule slippage.
Requirements
  • Knowledge of ServiceNow IT Modules (i.e., ITSM, ITOM, ITBM/ SPM, GRC/ IRM, SecOps, Vulnerability Response, Service Portal, SAM Pro, Integration Hub, and/or Performance Analytics).
  • Skill in Development in JavaScript on the ServiceNow Platform.
  • Integrations (e.g., REST APIs, LDAP, Active Directory, JDBC, Orchestration, etc.).
  • Scoped Applications.
  • Flow Designer, preferred.
  • Integration Hub, preferred.
  • Service Portal, preferred.
  • Ability to Communicate and collaborate effectively.
  • Deliver project work on time and with high quality.
  • Occasionally work a non-standard shift including nights and/or weekends and/or have on-call responsibilities.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of a bachelor's degree in computer science, MIS, Business, or related degree and (three) 4 to (six) 6 years of relevant experience or a combination of education, training, and experience.
  • May have one or more technical or business-related certifications.
  • ServiceNow Certification is a plus: Certified Application Developer.
  • ITIL Foundation Certification is a plus.
