Lead Supplier Industrialization Engineer, Electrical Distribution Systems

At Lucid Motors, we're seeking a highly skilled Lead Supplier Industrialization Engineer to join our Corporate Supplier Industrialization Team. In this role, you'll be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to deliver challenging designs while ensuring manufacturing requirements for quality are met.
Key Responsibilities:
- Guide upfront design development and work with suppliers to create new manufacturing methods and control strategies.
- Oversee commodity SIEs assigned and lead, establish, and manage priorities and project assignments for all team members.
- Streamline lessons learned between programs and work cross-functionally to collaborate and guide Engineering development to select appropriate suppliers.
- Ensure full end-to-end coverage by subsystem with Sub-system technical expertise aligned with Engineering.
- Be visible and voice of your commodity supplier industrialization team by generating regular reports for senior management.
Requirements:
- 8+ years of hands-on supplier industrialization engineering (SIE) experience in Electrical Distribution Systems Low Voltage (LV) components.
- 3+ years of people manager experience leading a team of SIEs.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics and drawings and in-depth knowledge of quality standards and specifications in the area of placement.
- Excellent analytical abilities, technical writing ability, and comprehensive understanding of quality toolbox (IATF 16949, APQP, PPAP, SPC, MSA, FMEA, DOE, DFM/A, GD&T, etc.).
