Position Overview

The Senior Accounting Associate will handle assigned tasks with minimal supervision, reporting directly to the Senior Tax Staff and the Tax Manager.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare various tax returns for federal and state filings for partnerships, C-corporations, S-corporations, and individuals.
  • Ensure tax compliance and manage client relationships, including direct client interactions as directed by management.
  • Assist the Manager and Partner during IRS audits.
  • Respond to tax notices and prepare additional returns as necessary to deliver outstanding client service.
  • Exhibit proficiency in technical skills, work quality, and adherence to professional and firm standards.
  • Meet deadlines and manage time effectively.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Proficient in accounting and tax software.
  • Experience in preparing financial statements is essential.
  • Familiarity with Lacerte Tax Software and QuickBooks is advantageous.
  • CPA eligibility or licensure is required.
  • Strong understanding of current tax codes and regulations.
  • Ability to organize tasks, prioritize effectively, and complete work accurately and efficiently.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
