Our Quality Control department is responsible for ensuring that all products leaving our facility adhere to or surpass our customers' expectations.
Key Responsibilities
Reporting to the Quality Supervisor, the Quality Technician will:
- Maintain our high-quality standards and surpass customer satisfaction by utilizing your analytical expertise to assess raw materials and evaluate in-process and finished products against specified criteria.
- Alert operations regarding any non-conforming materials or product outcomes and assist in troubleshooting and identifying effective solutions.
- Collaborate with Research & Development, process development, and operations during plant trials and various projects.
- Keep accurate and updated records and databases, including production inventory systems, inspection reports, and quality documentation.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess the ability to apply fundamental quality techniques to address issues, implement solutions, and drive ongoing quality advancements. Your qualifications should ideally include:
- An associate degree in chemistry or a related discipline with five or more years of practical laboratory experience, or a bachelor's degree in chemistry or a related scientific field.
- Experience in problem-solving, root cause analysis, or familiarity with six sigma methodologies.
- Strong attention to detail, effective time management skills, and a basic understanding of statistical principles.
- Capability to access relevant areas of manufacturing operations.
- Willingness and flexibility to work on a rotating weekend and holiday schedule.
