Diagnostic Imaging Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team at AdventHealth La Grange. As a key member of our radiology department, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic procedures using ultrasound waves to examine tissue and body structure.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Set up and adjust equipment to perform exams, ensuring high-quality images for radiologists and physicians.
  • Implement safety standards and perform quality control procedures to maintain optimal equipment performance.
  • Perform routine and complex studies, assisting physicians in various imaging procedures.
  • Recognize significant structures, artifacts, pathology, and equipment limitations to provide accurate diagnoses.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of a 2-year allied health program preferred.
  • Previous experience in diagnostic imaging or a related field is required.
  • BLS Provider certification from the American Heart Association is necessary.
  • Registry Eligible Medical Sonography Tech certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography is required.
