Franciscan Village, a part of Franciscan Ministries, is a vibrant senior living community located in Lemont, Illinois. We are seeking a skilled Infection Control Specialist Nurse to join our team.

About the Role:
  • Assist in maintaining the Community and nursing service philosophies, through quality nursing practices.
  • Administer medication and treatment, complete documentation for residents in their care, in accordance with federal, state, and local standards, regulations, and departmental policies and procedures.
  • Maintain IDPH, CDC, and Cook Guidelines accordingly.
  • Attend a minimum of 12 annual hours of in-service education.
  • Be part of on-call rotation (1 every 5/6 weeks).
Requirements:
  • Graduate from an accredited school of nursing, BSN preferred.
  • 3-5 years of experience minimum with Infection Control.
  • Two years of clinical experience preferred, but not required.
  • Current nursing license for the state of Illinois.
  • CPR certified.
