At Gentiva Hospice, we're dedicated to providing exceptional care and support to our patients and their families. As a Chaplain - Bereavement Coordinator, you'll play a vital role in delivering spiritual services and bereavement support to those in need.

**Key Responsibilities:**

* Develop and implement spiritual plans of care for patients and families
* Provide direct spiritual counsel, prayer, and ministry as needed
* Serve as a liaison and resource for community clergy
* Assist with understanding the significant spiritual concerns related to patient and family response to dying
* Provide bereavement support to staff, including volunteers
* Educate and train staff, community, and contract agencies on psychosocial dynamics associated with illness, loss, and death

**Requirements:**

* BS or BA in theology, religion, human services, sociology, or related field from an accredited college or university
* A Master's Degree in counseling, psychology, theology, or divinity from an accredited college or university (preferred)
* A minimum of one unit of Association of Clinical Pastoral Education, Inc. (ACPE)-accredited CPE
