About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Hospice Chaplain to join our team at Gentiva Hospice. As a Hospice Chaplain, you will play a vital role in providing spiritual support and care to our patients and their families during their most vulnerable times.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide spiritual care and support to patients and families, including counseling, prayer, and ministry as needed.
  • Develop and implement individualized spiritual care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary care team.
  • Participate in training and education programs to enhance spiritual care skills and knowledge.
  • Collaborate with community spiritual leaders to provide comprehensive spiritual support to patients and families.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in theology, religion, human services, counseling, psychology, or a related field.
  • At least one unit of Association of Clinical Pastoral Education, Inc. (ACPE)-accredited CPE.
  • Two years of experience in spiritual care ministry or a related field, with a demonstrated ability to work with patients, families, and community spiritual leaders of various denominations and beliefs.
