Gentiva Hospice is seeking a compassionate and skilled Spiritual Care Specialist to join our team. As a Hospice Chaplain, you will play a vital role in providing spiritual support and care to our patients and their families.
Key Responsibilities- Provide spiritual services and support to hospice patients and families, including counseling, prayer, and ministry.
- Develop and implement spiritual care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary care team.
- Visit patients and families to assess their spiritual needs and provide direct support.
- Participate in training and education programs to enhance spiritual care skills and knowledge.
- Serve as a liaison and resource for community spiritual leaders and organizations.
- Bachelor's degree in theology, religion, human services, counseling, psychology, or sociology, or a related field.
- Master's degree in counseling, psychology, theology, or divinity, or a related field (preferred).
- One unit of Association of Clinical Pastoral Education, Inc. (ACPE)-accredited CPE.
- Two years of experience in spiritual care ministry or a related field, with demonstrated ability to work with patients, families, and community spiritual leaders.
