Position Summary

This non-exempt role is based in Renton, WA.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage incoming calls by answering, screening, and forwarding them appropriately.
  • Welcome visitors at the front desk, ensuring they are greeted, directed, and announced correctly.
  • Actively promote a positive employee experience through appreciation events, employee tours, and wellness programs.
  • Develop and distribute a weekly newsletter to keep staff informed about updates, events, and recognitions.
  • Maintain employee communication boards with relevant information and announcements.
  • Collaborate with HR and Recruiting on the onboarding process for new employees, including system access and welcome gifts.
  • Identify and coordinate special HR initiatives to support organizational goals; engage in planning and problem-solving activities.
  • Generate monthly and ad-hoc HR reports.
  • Monitor and follow up on compliance training requirements.
  • Provide general support to the HR department, including organizing meetings and preparing documents.
  • Assist with shipping and receiving tasks for the division.
  • Serve as a backup for Office Services and the CIO Executive Assistant as needed.
Qualifications
  • Dependable and organized, with the ability to produce accurate results and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Strong multitasking, customer service, and organizational skills, with proficiency in written and verbal communication.
  • Proficient in MS Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint; experience with HR systems (SAP), Publisher, and SharePoint is preferred.
  • Previous involvement in project-related activities, contributing to continuous improvement and system projects.
  • Able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Experience in HR-related roles or equivalent experience is required.
  • Must meet physical requirements with or without accommodation.
Education Requirements
  • A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field is mandatory.
