Job Title: Behavioral Health Specialist

Puget Sound Educational Service District is seeking a highly skilled Behavioral Health Specialist to provide direct services to students and their families. The ideal candidate will have experience working with youth ages 10-21 in a counseling or case management role and be able to collaborate with professionals from multiple disciplines to improve behavioral health outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement prevention and behavioral health plans to ensure students are safe, healthy, and supported.
  • Provide individual and family screening, monitoring, referral, case management, consultation, skill building services, and follow-up within the student assistance framework.
  • Coordinate activities with school teams and community partners to identify students struggling with substance abuse or mental health issues and refer them to school and community-based services.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Counseling, Education, Human Services, Psychology, or Social Work.
  • Professional experience working with youth ages 10-21 in a counseling or case management role.
  • Experience collaborating with professionals from multiple disciplines to improve behavioral health outcomes.
