Overview

Position Summary
  • A Pediatric Physical Therapist is tasked with evaluating and treating a diverse range of conditions with a focus on orthopedic and neurological aspects. The therapist will establish measurable and functional objectives, create a comprehensive Plan of Care, and identify suitable treatment modalities while collaborating with relevant resources to implement the Plan of Care effectively.
Key Responsibilities
  • Educational Background
    • Required: Completion of an accredited Physical Therapy Program
    • Preferred: Advanced degree (Masters or Doctorate) from an accredited Physical Therapy institution
  • Professional Experience
    • No previous experience is necessary
  • Essential Skills
    • Strong clinical skills, effective communication, interpersonal abilities, and organizational capabilities are essential.
    • Self-driven individual capable of working autonomously with minimal supervision.
    • Demonstrated commitment to professional development through participation in continuing education and application of new methodologies.
  • Licensure and Certification
    • Required: Valid Missouri Physical Therapy license
    • Required: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification to be obtained within 90 days of employment
