At Anderson Rehabilitation Institute, we're dedicated to providing exceptional care to our patients. As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you'll play a vital role in our interdisciplinary team, working closely with licensed physical therapists to deliver comprehensive rehabilitation programs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with supervising PTs to develop and implement treatment plans, utilizing a variety of techniques and activities to promote patient recovery
- Assist patients in preparing for treatment and modalities, ensuring a safe and effective experience
- Provide treatment to diverse patient populations, documenting progress and communicating with support staff as needed
- Apply physical agents, therapeutic exercises, and gait-training activities as directed by licensed PTs, progressing patients in an appropriate manner
- Other duties as assigned
- Current state licensure as a Physical Therapy Assistant
- Previous experience in patient care preferred
- Current BLS/CPR certification
