Job Summary
As a key member of the University of Kentucky's Campus Recreation team, the Event Supervisor plays a vital role in ensuring the delivery of exceptional customer service to students and the community. This position is responsible for providing information, controlling access, checking out equipment, and monitoring activity areas within the facility.
Responsibilities
- Provide quality customer service to students and the community
- Monitor activity areas and enforce facility policies
- Respond to emergencies according to the outlined Emergency Action Plans
- Maintain a clean facility by completing routine cleaning, performing trash collection duties, and completing other chores as assigned
- Participate in training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge
Requirements
- CPR/AED/First Aid certifications are required for Event Supervisors
- Free certification classes will be available to all new employees who are not currently certified
- Student employees are expected to maintain a current certification throughout their employment
Preferred Qualifications
- Policy enforcement experience
