About the Job:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused individual who can manage patient flow, coordinate appointments, and provide administrative support. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to multitask, and work well under pressure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage patient flow, including checking in patients, verifying demographics, and coordinating appointments
  • Provide administrative support, including answering phones, scheduling appointments, and processing payments
  • Coordinate with providers and other staff members to ensure seamless patient care
  • Stock exam rooms, clean and sterilize equipment, and maintain a clean and organized workspace
  • Assist with obtaining authorizations and certifications for specialist visits
  • Collect patient data, including health history and baseline patient data

Requirements:

  • High school graduate or equivalent required; certification as a Medical Assistant preferred
  • 6 months of experience in a medical office setting; orthopedics experience a plus
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds, bend, stoop, and walk frequently
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
