Healthcare Assistant Professional

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Healthcare Assistant Professional to join our team at Bristol Hospital Multi-Specialty Group. In this role, you will provide exceptional patient care and support in a fast-paced medical office setting.
The estimated salary for this position is $55,000 - $70,000 per year, depending on experience.
About the Job:
We are looking for a reliable and compassionate individual who can maintain accurate patient records, perform various administrative tasks, and provide clinical support as needed. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to multitask, and work well under pressure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain patient records, including demographic and insurance information
- Perform administrative tasks, such as answering phones, scheduling appointments, and processing payments
- Provide clinical support, including taking vital signs, preparing patients for exams, and assisting with procedures
- Stock exam rooms, clean and sterilize equipment, and maintain a clean and organized workspace
- Assist with obtaining authorizations and certifications for specialist visits
- Collect patient data, including health history and baseline patient data
Requirements:
- High school graduate or equivalent required; certification as a Medical Assistant preferred
- 6 months of experience in a medical office setting; orthopedics experience a plus
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds, bend, stoop, and walk frequently
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
