Hospice Registered Nurse Job Description

AccentCare is seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team as a Hospice Registered Nurse. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our patients and their families.

Job Summary

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced RN to provide high-quality patient care in a home health hospice setting. As a Hospice Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for assessing patient needs, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and providing emotional support to patients and their families.

Responsibilities
  • Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans
  • Provide high-quality patient care in a home health hospice setting
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care
  • Provide emotional support to patients and their families
  • Document patient progress and outcomes
Requirements
  • Graduated from an approved school of professional nursing
  • One year experience as a registered nurse, preferred
  • Licensed to practice as a registered nurse in the state of Texas
  • Possess and maintain valid CPR certification
