About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team at Gentiva Hospice. As a Hospice Aide, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to patients and their families in the comfort of their own homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personal care and assistance with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Assist with light housekeeping tasks, such as emptying trash and changing linens
  • Prepare and serve light meals and snacks
  • Assist with ambulation and transfer patients as needed
  • Provide emotional and psychological support to patients and their families
  • Document patient care and progress in a timely and accurate manner
Requirements
  • Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license
  • 6 months of patient care experience in hospice, home health, ICU, geriatric, or oncology
  • Current driver's license and automobile insurance
  • Current CPR certification
