About the RoleWe're seeking a seasoned Senior Manager to join our IT Operations team. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for owning and managing global strategy, budget, and operations for IT software and hardware procurement.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee IT asset lifecycle processes, including procurement, tracking, reallocation, and disposal, while forecasting demand and maintaining levels according to forecasted projects and growth projections.
- Own software renewals for IT, license management, and vendor management strategy.
- Lead contract negotiation efforts to purchase hardware/software in a timely manner to attain cost and inventory objectives, minimizing risk for the organization.
- Maintain vendor relationships and conduct regular performance reviews to ensure compliance with contractual agreements and service level expectations.
- Partner with FP&A and IT Operations leadership to supervise the budget estimations and compliance.
- Own and manage an Asset and Inventory Management solution in partnership with IT Engineering and Security teams to meet regulatory and compliance requirements.
- Continuously evaluate and improve procurement processes to enhance efficiencies and reduce costs while maintaining a high standard of quality.
- Partner with Global Service Desk to define and implement inventory management processes and policies.
- Collaborate with partners like Legal, Strategic Sourcing, Accounts Payable, and other business stakeholders to ensure smooth onboarding of new vendors and tooling.
- Manage key sourcing projects, coordinating efforts across all stakeholders and participating functions like legal, finance, security, and compliance.
- Develop and manage reporting tools and models, tracking and reporting key metrics.
- Identify and evaluate emerging procurement technologies to enhance organizational capabilities and competitiveness.
- Manage a team of IT Procurement Specialists, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.
- 8+ years of relevant Technology sourcing/procurement experience, especially IT software, office hardware, and services in a multinational corporation.
- In-depth understanding of best-in-class procurement processes (sourcing, contracting, negotiation, etc.).
- Knowledge of demand management and ordering processes and familiar with various software used to manage inventory.
- Deep passion for operational efficiencies and someone who excels in documentation and knowledge sharing.
- Excellent relationship building skills both in-house and with vendors/suppliers globally.
- Experience in Software Asset Management and optimizations of SaaS applications.
- Demonstrated working knowledge of IT third-party vendor contracts.
- Experience in the Vendor management space.
- Metrics-driven, with the ability to exercise judgment and operate independently.
- Ability to manage multiple simultaneous projects requiring effective communication, organization, prioritization, time management, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with Anaplan, Oomnitza, Zip, Zylo.
