Procurement and Supply Chain Manager

Ampcus Inc. is a leading provider of technology and business consulting services, seeking a highly skilled Procurement and Supply Chain Manager to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the end-to-end procurement and supply chain processes for our high-volume manufacturing facility, ensuring optimal supply chain performance and minimizing disruptions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a strategic procurement and supply chain plan to support the company's manufacturing objectives and growth.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong partnerships with top priority vendors and suppliers to ensure reliable supply and responsiveness.
  • Lead the procurement team in identifying, evaluating, and onboarding new suppliers to expand the vendor base and increase supply chain resilience.
  • Negotiate favorable contracts with vendors, including pricing, lead times, delivery terms, and flexibility/responsiveness.
  • Oversee materials and inventory planning to maintain optimal stock levels and minimize excess or shortage.
  • Analyze supply chain performance data to identify opportunities for improvement and implement process enhancements.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with production, logistics, and finance teams to align procurement and supply chain activities.
  • Manage the procurement team, including goal-setting, training, and performance evaluations.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, regulations, and best practices in procurement and supply chain management.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain, operations, business, or a related field.
  • 7-10 years of progressive experience in procurement and/or supply chain management, preferably in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
  • Expertise in supplier relationship management, contract negotiation, and inventory optimization.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve supply chain issues.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficient with supply chain management software and data analysis tools.
