  • Manage food costs, inventory, and ordering to ensure efficient and cost-effective operations
  • Select, interview, and hire all kitchen staff to ensure proper staffing levels and high-quality service
  • Create and manage kitchen schedules to meet labor targets and support sales projections
  • Verify that kitchen staff follow all recipes, food safety protocols, and quality control procedures
  • Develop and implement action plans to improve kitchen operations and food quality based on mystery shop and customer feedback
  • Communicate effectively with kitchen staff, management, and customers to ensure seamless service and high-quality food
  • Motivate and lead kitchen staff to achieve exceptional results and support our company values
  • Run efficient kitchen shifts and support the daily operation of the store
  • Partner with our Learning & Development team to ensure all kitchen staff are properly trained and certified

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of kitchen management experience
  • Required state alcohol-server and Manager ServSafe Certification
  • High-level understanding of training and development concepts
  • Ability to foster teamwork and leadership skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Bilingual, a plus
  • Ability to lift, push, pull, or carry heavy objects up to 40 pounds
  • Ability to stand for several hours and walk for long periods of time
  • Ability to bend, stretch, twist, or reach for objects on shelves at various height levels
