Job Summary
A Benefits & Retirement Specialist is sought to join a fast-growing team in the greater Houston Area. The ideal candidate will administer policies, processes, procedures, and activities of defined contribution and benefit plans.

As a Benefits & Retirement Specialist, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing comprehensive benefits and retirement plans in accordance with company objectives and legal requirements. You will also collaborate with stakeholders, provide expert advice, and manage relationships with vendors and consultants.

About You
You should have a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or Business Administration and at least 5 years of experience in designing, implementing, and managing retirement plans. Your expertise in retirement plan regulations, industry trends, and best practices is essential. Additionally, you should possess exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, strong project management skills, and high integrity when handling confidential information. Our estimated salary range is $35-$45 per hour.

Your Responsibilities
  • Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive benefits and retirement plans.
  • Collaborate with HR, Finance, and Legal teams to align benefits and retirement plans with overall company strategy.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance to senior management on all matters related to benefits and retirement plans.
  • Manage relationships with vendors, brokers, and consultants to ensure the best possible service for employees.
  • Create and deliver engaging communication materials to educate employees about their benefits and retirement plans.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in designing, implementing, and managing retirement plans.
  • In-depth knowledge of retirement plan regulations, industry trends, and best practices.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • High level of integrity, professionalism, and discretion when handling confidential information.
  • Proficiency in using HRIS and benefits administration systems.
