Your Role
The Client Investment Analyst plays a crucial role in delivering client-facing performance reports. You will collaborate with a senior associate to analyze client portfolios, continuously monitor asset allocations, and generate comprehensive reports that keep our team informed about assets under management, strategy performance, and account activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Generate, update, and maintain performance reports for clients, including mutual funds, proprietary CIBC Private Wealth Management funds, and alternative investments.
  • Gather data from internal systems, Bloomberg Terminal, and third-party sources to ensure accurate reporting.
  • Utilize internal systems and Excel for report creation, updates, and maintenance.
  • Monitor client asset allocations to ensure compliance with investment policy statements and internal strategies, making necessary adjustments by buying or selling securities.
  • Prepare general strategy performance reports for senior leadership to track performance metrics and assets under management.
  • Create presentations based on specific client requests, such as industry outlooks and account exposure analyses.

Who You Are
You possess a B.A. or B.S. degree, preferably in Accounting, Finance, or Economics. You have a strong command of the MS Office Productivity suite, especially Excel, and demonstrate excellent quantitative reasoning skills. Your attention to detail is paramount, as the reports you generate are directly presented to clients.
