Job Summary

Easter Seal Society Of Superior California seeks a skilled Virtual Training Specialist for Developmental Disabilities to join our team. This role requires creativity, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. The successful candidate will have experience working with individuals with physical and/or developmental disabilities and be proficient in video calling software, Microsoft Office 365.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Create engaging virtual training resources using innovative, creative, and technology-based services to meet individual goals and objectives.
  • Collaborate with Individual Success Coordinators to review individuals' choices and preferences and design relevant curriculum opportunities.
  • Provide curriculum, supplies, and written materials to individuals in a form or language they understand to facilitate understanding and successful participation.
  • Lead meaningful classes as scheduled daily/weekly by effectively facilitating participation and engagement.
  • Maintain a tracking record of individual participation in virtual classes for tracking and billing purposes.

Requirements:
  • Minimum of one (1) year teaching experience.
  • Experience working with individuals with physical and/or developmental disabilities.
  • Possession of a current valid California driver's license and a driving record that meets the standards of Easter Seal Society Of Superior California.
  • Possession of a current certificate in Adult CPR with AED from an approved provider.

Working Environment:
This is a remote work position; work can be performed in an area suitable for the employee so long as client information remains secure and duties are able to be performed. Estimated salary: $60,000 - $70,000 per annum.
