Process Development Associate

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Biochemical Technician to join our team at Synsus Private Label Partners. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient manufacturing of our specialty liquid fertilizers and agricultural products.
Key Responsibilities- Manufacturing Operations
- Follow and document batches according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Monitor and control key process variables to maintain product quality and consistency.
- Prepare and make ready all materials for manufacturing, including monitoring temperature, pressure, and visual appearance.
- Collaboration and Communication
- Work closely with operators, planners, quality department, process engineering, maintenance, shipping/receiving, and plant management to provide excellent service to customers.
- Communicate effectively with the team to address any changes or discrepancies in equipment or batches.
- Quality Assurance and Control
- Complete job-specific SOPs with all necessary data, including target weight and actual weight of each add, time of completion with date, total actual batch weight, and testing results.
- Conduct laboratory testing as needed for specific new products.
- Maintenance and Housekeeping
- Maintain clean work areas, manufacturing and storage tanks, all lines, and other equipment using water and cleaning agents as required.
- Perform minor maintenance tasks as required to keep processes operating.
- Education and Experience
- 2 or 4-year technical or scientific degree (Chemistry, Biology, Microbiology, etc.).
- Trade School with mechanical or technical background.
- Skills and Abilities
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Proficiency in math, reading comprehension, and mechanical reasoning with strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Able to become respirator fit tested for safe operations.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment.
The work environment is primarily a laboratory setting onsite, with occasional plant walk-throughs to assist in quality-related matters. The noise level is typically minimal, with normal chemical manufacturing duties occurring daily.
