About this role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Benefits Administration Specialist to join our team at GoCo, Inc. As a pivotal member of our team, you will collaborate closely with clients, brokers, and our implementation team to build out comprehensive benefit plans in our platform.

Your role will involve conducting training, providing enablement, and ensuring client-specific needs are met through a consultative approach. You will also be responsible for reviewing and reconciling plan data for accuracy, resolving discrepancies, managing benefit implementation processes, and serving as the main point of contact for benefit-related inquiries during implementation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with clients, brokers, and our implementation team to build out plans in our platform (including medical, dental, vision, life, disability, retirement, FSA, HSA/HRA, ancillary, and supplemental plans).
  • Conduct training and provide enablement to meet client-specific needs using a consultative approach.
  • Review and reconcile plan data after it's been built to ensure accuracy.
  • Research and resolve plan build discrepancies reported by our partners and clients.
  • Manage the benefit implementation from start to finish for all new clients who purchase benefit administration.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for benefit-related inquiries during implementation.
  • Coordinate, build, and test all EDI implementations.
  • Initial contact for EDI troubleshooting inquiries and monitoring transmissions.
  • Collaborate in major projects such as Open Enrollment and plan updates around our benefits module.
  • Represent GoCo to service benefit contacts (clients, brokers, carriers) with ongoing inquiries regarding eligibility, set-up, etc.

Necessary Skills:

  • Thorough knowledge of benefits administration and COBRA.
  • Knowledge of EDI document formats and details.
  • Audit (Excel) experience.
  • Must be comfortable interacting collaboratively with employees and external vendors.
  • Maintains an extremely high level of confidentiality, professionalism, and integrity.
  • Ability to catch on quickly and thrive in a very fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously and independently.
  • Collaborative, positive attitude, and self-motivated.
