Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement education programs for clinical staff to enhance their knowledge and skills in hematology and oncology.
- Collaborate with nursing leaders and staff to assess learning needs and competencies, and develop strategies to address these needs.
- Design and deliver educational materials, including presentations, handouts, and online resources.
- Conduct training sessions and workshops to educate staff on new procedures, policies, and best practices.
- Assess the effectiveness of education programs and make recommendations for improvement.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest research and evidence-based practices in hematology and oncology, and incorporate this knowledge into education programs.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) or higher.
- Current RN license in the State of Florida.
- At least 3 years of experience in nursing education or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of hematology and oncology, including current treatments, medications, and best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
This is a full-time position that requires working in a fast-paced clinical environment. The successful candidate will be able to work effectively in a team setting, communicate clearly and concisely, and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
