Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Nurse Educator to join our team at Memorial Healthcare System. As a Clinical Nurse Educator, you will play a critical role in developing and providing services related to the orientation, continuing education, and assessment of the ongoing competency of clinical staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with developing specific departmental goals, standards, and objectives that directly support the strategic plan and vision of the organization.
  • Work with nursing leaders and staff to assess the learning needs and competencies of staff.
  • Support an environment that promotes evidence-based nursing practice based on nursing research, scientific inquiry, quality improvement, and evidence-based practice.
  • May perform clinical patient care when needed.
  • Manage the onboarding and orientation of all new employees and students on assigned units.
  • Participate in the development, coordination, and delivery of all education activities on assigned units.
  • Participate in research activities, quality improvement, or evidence-based practice, updates, and evaluates clinical competencies to assess quality of patient care delivered and ensure regulatory compliance on assigned units.
  • Serve as a consultant/mentor/change agent for staff in areas of program development, clinical practice, and professional development.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing (Required)
  • BLS American Heart E-Card (BLS AHA ECARD) - American Heart Association (AMERICAN HEART)
  • BLS Certification Grace (BLS GRACE) - Employee Grace Period for Essential Credential (GRACE)
  • Registered Nurse Compact License (RN LICENSE COMPACT) - Compact RN Multistate
  • Registered Nurse License (RN LICENSE) - State of Florida (FL)
Working Conditions and Physical Requirements
