Assistant Bakery Manager Trainee Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Bakery Operations Leadership Assistant to join our team at Nothing Bundt Cakes #269. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who want to develop their leadership skills, improve their knowledge of cake production, and become part of a dynamic retail environment.
About the JobThe Assistant Bakery Manager will work closely with the Bakery Manager to ensure that all aspects of the bakery operation meet the highest standards of quality and customer service. The ideal candidate will have a passion for baking, a strong commitment to teamwork, and excellent communication skills.
Main Responsibilities:- Prioritize the guest experience by modeling superior engagement and fostering a positive work environment.
- Partner with the Bakery Manager in leading all aspects of the guest experience, including cake production, brand presentation, work environment, and inventory control.
- Support the Bakery Manager in recruiting, selecting, and training team members, directing daily work responsibilities, and providing performance feedback and coaching.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A high school diploma or GED; post-secondary education is a plus.
- 1-3 years of guest-facing experience in a retail, restaurant, or food service environment, preferably in a lead role with progressive managerial responsibilities.
- Demonstrated success creating a superior guest experience, coaching others to do the same, training new team members, directing the work of others, and achieving productivity goals.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, with comfort in learning new technologies.
