Job Title: Vice President of Safety and Compliance

Corporate Flight Management is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Vice President of Safety and Compliance to join our team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing our flight, maintenance, ground, and corporate safety and security programs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement safety and security policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
  • Conduct regular safety risk assessments and audits to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
  • Investigate incidents and accidents, and develop effective mitigation strategies to prevent recurrence.
  • Develop and maintain our Safety Management System (SMS) and ensure its effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with our leadership team to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Develop and maintain our Emergency Response Program.
  • Coordinate with government agencies, such as the FAA and NTSB, to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and maintain our Hearing Conservation Program.
  • Identify and execute forward-thinking processes and tool procurement for predictive analysis.
  • Provide written reports on safety and security matters.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 4+ years of aviation-related experience.
  • Associate's degree preferred.
  • Strong leadership, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of OSHA, EPA, FAA, NTSB, and other relevant regulations.
  • Expert knowledge in aviation safety and accident prevention.
