Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Vice President of Safety and Compliance to join our team at Corporate Flight Management. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing our flight, maintenance, ground, and corporate safety and security programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement safety and security policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
  • Conduct regular safety risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to minimize hazards and prevent accidents.
  • Investigate incidents and accidents, identify root causes, and develop effective corrective actions.
  • Develop and maintain safety programs, including pilot, crew resource, and maintenance Aviation Safety Action Programs (ASAP), Flight Operations Quality Assurance (FOQA), Fatigue Risk Management (FRMP), and Line Operations Safety Audit (LOSA) audits.
  • Develop and maintain the Contour Emergency Response Program.
  • Maintain close liaison and coordination with regulatory agencies, including the FAA, NTSB, OSHA, and TSA.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA and DOL standards, including complaint investigations and company responses.
  • Develop and execute the company hearing conservation program.
  • Identify and execute forward-thinking processes and tool procurement for predictive analysis.
  • Provide written reports on safety and security matters.
  • Perform duties as an active member of an aircraft accident board and coordinate first responder duties during an onsite accident.
  • Assist in maintaining accident and incident records, files, and reports.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 4+ years of aviation-related experience.
  • Expert knowledge in the technical field of aviation safety and accident prevention.
  • Knowledgeable of OSHA, EPA, FAA, NTSB, and other relevant federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Strong leadership, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Associate's degree preferred.
