Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and visionary Assistant Chief Financial Officer to lead the day-to-day management of financial activities and play a pivotal role in shaping the strategic direction of our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise the Finance, Case Management, and Health Information Management departments.
  • Develop and implement financial strategies to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care and foster a culture of innovation and collaboration within the finance team.
  • Oversee the accounting operations, including the production of periodic financial reports, maintenance of accounting records, and development of comprehensive controls and budgets.
  • Manage budgets and resources effectively, ensuring compliance with generally accepted accounting principles and governmental audit standards.
  • Develop and implement a capital asset management process to optimize resource allocation.
  • Establish expertise in productivity systems, scheduling, and staffing across the organization.
  • Collaborate with the medical staff, senior staff members, and department heads to maintain good working relationships.
  • Support the organization in budget planning and evaluate new service lines and enhanced technology.
Requirements
  • A Master's Degree with CPA or Equivalent is desirable.
  • Minimum of 5 years of senior financial management experience in a hospital or healthcare setting.
  • Strong understanding of managing capital and operating budgets, cash management, and financial reporting.
  • Proven track record of overseeing accounting operations, including financial reporting, accounting records, and comprehensive controls and budgets.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically, analyze complex issues, and develop innovative solutions.
  • Strong financial acumen and experience managing budgets and resources effectively.
  • Ethical integrity and ability to make timely decisions and changes when necessary.
  • Technology expertise to ensure compliance with generally accepted accounting principles and governmental audit standards.
  • Commitment to promoting a culture of diversity, equity, and inclusion within the Finance department and across the organization.
