Job Description:

The Customer Service Leader is a vital role within our organization, responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences and driving sales growth. This position requires a high level of customer service skills, technical knowledge, and leadership abilities to effectively manage the customer service team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead by example, providing exceptional customer service and promoting a positive shopping experience
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of store operations, including cash handling procedures and inventory management
  • Provide guidance and coaching to customer service associates to ensure they meet performance standards
  • Assist in maintaining a clean and organized work environment, adhering to Food Lion's safety and sanitation policies
  • Collaborate with other departments to achieve business objectives and improve overall customer satisfaction
Requirements:
  • A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent required; some college education preferred
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and empower team members
  • Proven customer service experience, preferably in a retail or food industry setting
  • Able to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for long periods, and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines, while maintaining a focus on quality and attention to detail
Estimated Salary Range:

$45,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications
