Job Summary:

As an Offshore Account Manager at Brenntag, you will be responsible for managing customer relationships and driving sales growth in the oil and gas industry. You will utilize your consultative sales approach to ensure customer satisfaction and maximize sales and profit.

You will be responsible for maintaining and developing existing assigned accounts, as well as identifying new business opportunities. You will work closely with internal teams and customers to provide solutions that meet their needs and exceed their expectations.

To succeed in this role, you will need to have a strong understanding of the oil and gas industry, as well as excellent communication and negotiation skills. You will also need to be able to exercise independent judgment and problem-solving skills to drive commercial and functional excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage customer relationships and drive sales growth in the oil and gas industry
  • Maintain and develop existing assigned accounts
  • Identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to grow the relationship
  • Work closely with internal teams and customers to provide solutions that meet their needs and exceed their expectations
  • Exercise independent judgment and problem-solving skills to drive commercial and functional excellence

Requirements:

  • Preferably Post-Secondary Education with a focus in Business, Science or equivalent
  • Experience in oil and gas industry required, preferably in a sales capacity (4 to 6 years previous experience in technical sales role preferred)
  • Knowledge of oil & gas chemical solutions required
  • Experience managing accounts preferred
