**Job Summary**
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our team at Grassa Gramma. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for assisting the Executive Chef in the day-to-day operations of the kitchen, including menu planning, inventory management, and staff supervision.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Assist the Executive Chef in menu planning, food preparation, and presentation
- Manage kitchen inventory, including ordering and receiving supplies
- Supervise and train kitchen staff, including cooks, dishwashers, and other support staff
- Ensure high-quality food standards and presentation
- Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment
- Collaborate with the Executive Chef to develop and implement new menu items and promotions
**Requirements**
- 1+ year of experience as a Sous Chef or Kitchen Manager in a high-volume, upscale restaurant environment
- Culinary degree or equivalent experience
- Up-to-date knowledge of food trends and products
- Passion for people and willingness to teach and learn
- ServSafe or comparable Food Handler certification
