Job Summary:

Tao Group Hospitality is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to lead our culinary team and drive the success of our food and beverage operations. As a key member of our management team, the Executive Chef will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our heart-of-house operations, ensuring exceptional quality, safety, and profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a high-performing culinary team, including interviewing, hiring, training, and developing team members.
  • Develop and implement menus, recipes, and culinary programs that meet the highest standards of quality and creativity.
  • Oversee kitchen operations, including food preparation, presentation, and service, to ensure exceptional guest experiences.
  • Manage inventory, purchasing, and food costs to maintain profitability and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with the General Manager to develop and implement business strategies, including menu engineering, pricing, and marketing initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers, vendors, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless operations.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and culinary innovations to drive continuous improvement.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 8 years of experience as an Executive Chef or Senior Sous Chef in a high-volume kitchen setting.
  • Two-year associate degree in Culinary Arts or equivalent work experience.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and maintain a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft products, POS systems, and technology.
