Position Overview:


Under the guidance of the Executive Chef, the Culinary Event Supervisor is accountable for the planning, organization, food preparation, execution, sanitation, and production of culinary offerings for banquet and private events, along with other necessary areas.

This role includes fulfilling all daily and weekly cleaning and production tasks as directed by the Executive Chef.

Compensation:

This position offers an annual salary ranging from $85,000 to $105,000, in addition to performance bonuses.

Key Responsibilities:


The Culinary Event Supervisor is responsible for:

  • Thoroughly understanding daily function sheets to coordinate the setup and organization of private parties and banquet events.
  • Preparing and storing all necessary food items in accordance with quality standards.
  • Maintaining the required quantity of items utilized by kitchen staff, such as dressings, salsas, and soups.
  • Communicating with the Executive Chef or Sous Chef regarding special product needs or quality concerns.
  • Ensuring consistent preparation and presentation of dishes according to established standards.
  • Exhibiting proficiency in sauce preparation and cooking techniques for various proteins and vegetables.
  • Practicing safe food handling and maintaining personal hygiene at all times.
  • Ensuring cleanliness and sanitation of the work area and kitchen.
  • Assisting team members and guests to deliver exceptional service.
  • Addressing member or guest complaints promptly and effectively.
  • Interacting professionally with members and guests, accommodating changes and last-minute requests.
  • Adhering to all operational standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Demonstrating the ability to multitask and work efficiently in a dynamic environment.
  • Maintaining a clean and professional appearance in accordance with company standards.

Qualifications:


We are looking for candidates who possess:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in a kitchen environment.
  • Preferred culinary training.
  • A valid Health & Sanitation Card.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to follow instructions.
  • A capacity to thrive in a fast-paced indoor environment.

Physical Requirements:

Applicants should be prepared for physical demands including standing, walking, exposure to temperature variations, and lifting up to 100 lbs as needed.
