Unit Overview:

A3 West is a vibrant 38-bed medical-surgical unit focused on adult patients with diverse diagnoses and post-operative requirements. Here, you will have the chance to develop essential nursing competencies while fostering a nurturing, family-oriented atmosphere.

Patient Demographics:

Our focus is on adult patients aged 18 and older, ranging from those who require independent care to those needing comprehensive support. Regardless of their condition or procedure, every patient receives individualized attention and compassionate care from our devoted team.

Job Responsibilities and Qualifications

This role involves providing leadership that facilitates the delivery of professional nursing care, ensuring the comfort and wellbeing of patients. You will utilize the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation to provide, delegate, supervise, and document care and education for patients and their families.

Qualifications:

  • Preferred Experience: At least one year of nursing experience in a hospital setting.
  • Required Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing or enrollment in a BSN program with completion within five years of hire. RNs with ten or more years of experience may be exempt from this requirement.
  • Required License/Certifications: Current licensure as a registered nurse with the appropriate state board. eNLC (Enhanced Nurse License Compact) license may apply.
  • Certification: BLS Healthcare Provider certification is mandatory.
