Unit Overview:
A3 West is a vibrant 38-bed medical-surgical unit focused on providing care to adult patients with diverse diagnoses and post-operative requirements. This role offers the chance to enhance your nursing skills while helping to cultivate a nurturing, family-oriented atmosphere.
Patient Demographics:
In this position, you will care for adult patients aged 18 and older, ranging from those who need independent assistance to those requiring comprehensive support. Regardless of their condition, every patient receives individualized attention and compassionate care from our dedicated team.

Job Responsibilities and QualificationsThe Registered Nurse provides leadership that facilitates the delivery of professional nursing care, ensuring the comfort and wellbeing of patients. Utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, the RN will provide, delegate, supervise, and document care and education for patients and their families.
Qualifications:
- Preferred Experience: Minimum of one year of hospital nursing experience.
- Required Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing or enrollment in a BSN or advanced degree program, with completion of a BSN within five years of hire.
- Required License/Certifications: Current licensure as a registered nurse with the appropriate nursing board.
- Certification: BLS Healthcare Provider certification.
