Mission Hospital is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Adult Medical Surgical team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and contribute to the delivery of exceptional patient outcomes.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care plans.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes or concerns to physicians.
- Assist with patient education and discharge planning.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree or equivalent.
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of North Carolina.
- At least one year of experience in adult medical surgical nursing.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Preferred: National Certification in Medical-Surgical Nursing.

Mission Hospital is a 815-bed regional referral center and the flagship hospital of Mission Health. We are a Level II trauma center and the region's only children's hospital. Our hospital provides a wide range of medical services, including open heart and interventional cardiology, and is the only Cyberknife provider west of Raleigh.
