Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Automation Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our Applications Engineering department, you will be responsible for developing competitive technical solutions to customer requirements for custom automated equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Qualify incoming opportunities to ensure alignment with forecast and financial metrics.
  • Review customer technical specifications and requirements for the development of System Concepts, Costs, Risk Assessments, and Proposal Documents.
  • Apply Practical Conformance to the JRA Corporate Practices, Procedures and Tools.
  • Coordinate and execute large multi-business unit quotes.
  • Manage core customers.
  • Generate & Render Conceptual Solutions for Customer problems.
  • Facilitate Concept Brainstorming, leading docket review meetings.
  • Prepare, schedule and facilitate preliminary/final concept meetings with technical information.
  • Develop Proposals that clearly and completely define the proposed Scope of Work.
  • Support Account Managers by attending customer visits and ensuring pain points and competitive advantages are leveraged into the proposals.
  • Travel independently or with an Account Manager.
  • Able to present in meetings independently with functional teams, upper management, or customers.
  • Maintain assignment-specific AE related fields in company CRM.
  • Schedule and facilitate Project KickOff Meetings for PEP.
  • Support functional team members associated with a project by facilitating required Tollgate Meetings for awarded work and consulting with the PM for scope variation.
  • Attend early Phase Project Design Reviews to ensure conformance to "As Sold" Scope of Work.
