Key Responsibilities:
- Prospect and qualify new business opportunities in the building automation and life safety systems market.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers, including building owners, general contractors, and architects.
- Provide technical expertise and solutions to customers to address their project challenges.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including product partners and engineers, to ensure successful project execution.
- Manage the sales pipeline and ensure timely follow-up with customers and prospects.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 0-1 year of experience in sales, preferably in the building automation and life safety systems industry.
- Strong technical knowledge of building automation and life safety systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable transportation and a clean driving record.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in sales, preferably in the building automation and life safety systems industry.
- Advanced knowledge of the construction industry and the owner-direct negotiated process.
- Successful experience selling traditional plan & spec bid and design-build projects to contractors and direct to owners.
- Proven experience managing the development of complex project solutions, estimates, and proposals.
