Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Product Owner, Customer Operations to join our team at Con Edison. As a Product Owner, you will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of customer-facing products and services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and implementation of customer-facing products and services
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful product launches
  • Develop and maintain product roadmaps and backlogs
  • Work closely with stakeholders to understand customer needs and preferences
  • Ensure products meet customer needs and are delivered on time and within budget

Requirements:

  • Associate's degree and 5 years of work experience, or Bachelor's degree and 3 years of work experience, or Master's degree and 2 years of work experience
  • 5 years of project management, privacy, data, or other relevant experience
  • Strong project management skills with experience as a product owner or similar role on a technology implementation project
  • Ability to work independently and drive results by collaborating with stakeholders to build consensus
  • Demonstrated ability to be well organized, detail oriented, and flexible to handle multiple assignments and deadlines
  • Proven leadership and interpersonal skills and strong ability to communicate clearly and effectively with all levels of the organization
  • Experience developing and delivering presentations and creating documentation that can be consumed by users of diverse background and skills
  • Strong analytical skills and problem-solving skills with experience in business process improvement
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Experience in a privacy, data privacy, or data governance-related role in operations, risk management and/or compliance, designing and/or implementing privacy program elements
  • Experience in organizational change management or customer experience management
  • Supervisory/management experience with employees, vendors, and contractors

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
  • Agile or Scrum certification(s)
  • OneTrust Privacy Professional certification
  • IAPP CIPP-US, CIPM, or CIPT certification

Additional Requirements:

  • Must be able to respond to Company emergencies by performing a System Emergency Assignment to restore service to our customers
  • Must be able and willing to travel within Company service territory, as needed
