Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze customer opinions and feedback to determine features or components that will add value to a product.
  • Assess product value stream to identify areas that require improvements.
  • Attend sprint planning and demo meetings to provide feedback on sprint achievement and collaborate with the scrum team.
  • Conduct backlog grooming meetings with a team of product owners to ensure alignment and prioritization.
  • Contact customers and end users to gather information on expected product features.
  • Develop and implement action plans for building and sustaining demand for a product.
  • Ensure implemented product features add value to end users and meet strategic expectations.
  • Highlight product features in a clear and concise manner to the development team.
  • Manage and develop the product backlog, as well as user stories backlog for implementation.
  • Measure product performance and value delivered to clients to inform adjustments.
  • Monitor the progress of product development and plan for product release to meet program or project deadlines.
  • Provide regular reports to update management and stakeholders on product development operations.
  • Serve as a voice to project the expectations of customers on new or existing products.
Requirements:
  • 7+ years of insurance experience within the claims operations or technology divisions of a large P&C insurance company.
  • 5+ years of experience implementing or working with Guidewire Claims system.
  • 5+ years of product, analysis, technology, and design experience.
  • 5+ years of leading cross-functional teams.
  • Experience with Agile development tools such as JIRA and Confluence.
