POSITION OVERVIEW

We are on the lookout for a talented and seasoned Lead Solutions Architect to enhance our team. This role is critical in supporting the development and implementation of cutting-edge solutions within a robust global network. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge in solution architecture and comprehensive IT services across the enterprise. You will work closely with diverse teams and multiple stakeholders to create and execute platforms that align with emerging capabilities. This is a unique opportunity to influence U.S. policies and objectives in a collaborative and dynamic setting.

CORE REQUIREMENTS

  • Active DoD Top Secret clearance with eligibility for SCI access and NATO and ACCM read-on.
  • AWS or Azure Certified Architect is preferred.
  • Experience with USSOCOM is advantageous.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
  • Engaging with cross-functional teams to conceptualize and implement innovative solutions that align with USSOCOM's strategic goals.
  • Providing expert technical guidance in the establishment and execution of enterprise-wide IT services.
  • Keeping abreast of new technologies and industry trends to foster ongoing improvement and innovation.
  • Leading the integration and delivery of platforms to facilitate the transition of emerging capabilities in support of mission enhancement.
  • Collaborating with various stakeholders, including industry leaders and academic institutions, to drive innovation and comprehensive data coverage.
  • Assisting in the transition of new solutions from pilot projects to full-scale enterprise implementation.
  • Ensuring seamless integration of services with USSOCOM processes across various locations.
  • Working with project teams to plan, develop, and test new capabilities prior to official release.
  • Organizing daily tasks in accordance with company policies and supervisory guidance to maximize productivity.
  • Maintaining a clean and safe work environment, promptly addressing any unsafe conditions.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline (Master's degree preferred).
  • A minimum of ten (10) years of experience in solution architecture or a similar role.
  • Strong expertise in designing and implementing enterprise-wide IT services.
  • Proven track record in leading platform integration and delivery.
  • Experience in collaborating with diverse stakeholders.
  • Deep understanding of cloud, mobile, and containerized environments.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Capability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
  • Proficient in analyzing business and user requirements and translating them into system specifications.
  • Advanced understanding of IT architecture principles and the ability to design and implement infrastructure.
  • Knowledge of computer hardware, systems software, and software development.
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to build consensus among diverse groups.
  • Detail-oriented with advanced analytical and critical thinking capabilities.
  • Exceptional organizational skills to manage multiple projects effectively.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to present information clearly.
  • Ability to coordinate efforts for timely project completion.
  • Proficient in working both independently and within a cross-functional team.
LANGUAGE AND MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
  • Ability to read and interpret various business documents and technical procedures.
  • Ability to write reports and business correspondence effectively.
  • Ability to apply mathematical concepts to practical situations.

  • Ability to interpret technical instructions and manage multiple variables.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
