About the Role

Arista Networks is seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our team. As a Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for the design and development of mechanical systems for our data center equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop mechanical systems for data center equipment, including switches and other networking devices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure mechanical designs meet customer needs and are delivered on time.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications and test plans.
  • Work with suppliers to ensure mechanical components meet design requirements and are delivered on time.
  • Participate in design reviews and provide input on mechanical design decisions.
Requirements
  • BS, MS, or PhD in Mechanical Engineering + 7 years' experience.
  • Relevant experience in mechanical design of computer/network equipment designed to operate in data centers.
  • Experience with CAD software, such as Creo or SolidWorks.
  • Experience with thermal simulation and air flow testing.
  • Ability to lift weight upwards of 50 pounds.
  • Fluent in English.

Arista Networks offers a competitive salary range of $133,000 to $185,000, depending on location and experience. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, and wellbeing benefits.
