Job Summary

As a Cost Engineer at Flatiron Construction, you will play a crucial role in monitoring, analyzing, and forecasting financial outcomes for construction projects. This position requires a strong understanding of financial principles and the ability to analyze data to identify trends and areas of concern.

Key Responsibilities

* Assemble and analyze daily and weekly production documentation control reports to monitor project costs and revenue.
* Perform cost analysis and spend tracking to forecast final financial outcomes and identify potential risks or opportunities.
* Assist in generating project budgets and monthly forecasting using Company-supported cost control software.
* Work with the project management team and project controls team to ensure accurate and timely reporting of financial information.

Requirements

* Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
* 3+ years of experience in the construction industry, quantities tracking, or engineering.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify trends and areas of concern.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information to stakeholders.
