Job Title: Electrical Engineer IV

Vector CSP, LLC is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer IV to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining electrical systems for our clients.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering, with a focus on systems integration and technical support. You will work closely with our clients to understand their needs and develop solutions that meet their requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement electrical systems for commercial, industrial, and domestic purposes.
  • Oversee project production efforts to ensure timely and budget-friendly completion.
  • Direct or coordinate manufacturing, construction, installation, maintenance, support, documentation, or testing activities to ensure compliance with specifications, codes, or customer requirements.
  • Perform detailed calculations to compute and establish manufacturing, construction, or installation standards or specifications.
  • Operate computer-assisted engineering or design software or equipment to perform engineering tasks.
  • Confer with engineers, customers, or others to discuss existing or potential engineering projects or products.
  • Investigate or test vendors' or competitors' products.
  • Inspect completed installations and observe operations to ensure conformance to design and equipment specifications and compliance with operational, safety, or environmental standards.
  • Investigate customer or public complaints to determine the nature and extent of problems.
  • Prepare technical drawings, specifications of electrical systems, or topographical maps to ensure that installation and operations conform to standards and customer requirements.
  • Compile data and write reports regarding existing or potential electrical engineering studies or projects.
  • Prepare specifications for purchases of materials or equipment.
  • Estimate labor, material, or construction costs for budget preparation purposes.
  • Supervise the manufacturing/integration of electrical and electronic equipment, to include Technology Analysis and Assessment, Design Definition, Development of Systems Specification, Systems Analysis, Systems Architecture, Systems/Equipment Integration, Test & Evaluation Criteria, and Logistics support of C4ISR.
Requirements:
  • Master's or BS degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering.
  • Ten (10) years of experience with Masters or 14 years with BS degree of professional experience with design, develop, test.
  • Five (5) years of technical experience in support of Navy or Coast Guard C4ISR projects.
