We are seeking an experienced Civil/Environmental Engineer to support Task Orders under our various Federal contracts. The successful candidate will possess a strong technical background in all phases of environmental site characterization and remediation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Interpretation and analysis of engineering data, development of design documents and specifications, and modeling utilizing various software packages.
  • Collaboration with project staff to develop client proposals; preparation and review of workplans, project reports, and other client deliverables.
  • Application of engineering skills and knowledge to complete assigned tasks; management of own time to meet schedule, budget, and quality targets.
  • Implementation of field activities and supervision of others working at project sites, including subcontractor personnel.
  • Possession of the ability to work independently with minimal guidance and determination of own work priorities within an assigned task.
  • Monitoring and control of costs within own work; solving moderately complex problems and taking a new perspective on existing solutions.
  • Ensurance of conformance to applicable engineering standards and regulatory requirements, as well as company policies and procedures.
  • Mentoring and development of Junior Engineering Staff.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 8+ years' work experience in the field of civil and/or environmental engineering associated with government contracts.
  • BS or MS degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or related field.
  • Active Professional Engineer (PE) License in VA (additional PA and/or NJ P.E. licensure a plus).
  • Current in OSHA HAZWOPER Certification.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD and other engineering software programs.
  • Ability to work in the field in all types of field conditions/weather.
  • Ability to travel as needed based upon project needs.
