Role Summary: As a Project Manager within our Implementation Services division, you will be responsible for the comprehensive management of implementation initiatives for payer-oriented solutions. This position demands proactive oversight of projects, excellent communication skills, meticulous documentation practices in Confluence, and effective collaboration with both internal and external development teams to guarantee successful project outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the management of implementation projects ranging from small to large scale, including any change requests.
- Employ a structured ten-step methodology to ensure project success, covering project initiation, stakeholder engagement, progress tracking, documentation oversight, and deployment management.
- Maintain and update project artifacts in Confluence and Salesforce, ensuring all documentation is current and accessible.
- Work closely with development teams to synchronize project goals and timelines.
- Create and sustain detailed project plans, meeting records, action items, and other related activities, including scope analysis, business requirements certification, testing plans, and deployment oversight.
- Engage with internal and external stakeholders to formulate business specifications and secure necessary approvals.
- Facilitate user training sessions as needed.
- Manage project timelines and cultivate strong client relationships through consistent communication and updates.
- Deliver clear and timely verbal and written communications to all stakeholders.
Required Skills and Experience:
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in Project or Program Management within the medical billing, clearinghouse, or bill review sectors.
- Familiarity with EDI transactions (X12 and other formats).
- Strong written and verbal communication capabilities, including technical documentation.
- Experience in requirements gathering and testing.
- Proficient in project planning and prioritization.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Outstanding customer service abilities.
- Proficient in the MS Office suite, particularly Project and Visio.
- Ability to work autonomously with minimal oversight.
- Experience collaborating with diverse internal and external stakeholders.
- Knowledge of X12, proprietary, and banking transaction sets.
- Background in Property and Casualty, Healthcare, medical billing/remittance, and payment processing.
Desired Competencies:
- Strategic and innovative thinking skills.
- Familiarity with Agile, SCRUM, or SDLC methodologies.
- PMP Certification is advantageous.
- Experience with electronic payment solutions.
- Ability to write and execute SQL queries.
